What makes Incline Village the right base for your trip?
A quiet residential community on the Nevada side of the North Shore, well away from the congestion of South Lake Tahoe. No state income tax on the Nevada side, and Diamond Peak is the local hill.
- Diamond Peak Ski Resort is the in-town mountain, with lake views from most runs.
- Lakeshore Boulevard is the flattest, most scenic walking and cycling route in the area.
- Burnt Cedar and Incline Beach are IVGID resident-access beaches — rental guests generally cannot use them, so plan on Sand Harbor or Hidden Beach.
- Mount Rose Highway (NV-431) is the direct route to Reno and needs chains or snow tires in winter.
This home files its occupancy tax in Washoe County, Nevada.
How far is 90s Tahoe Time Capsule from the places you'll actually go?
Distances are straight-line from this home's own coordinates, so the road distance is longer — mountain roads wind. We've left drive times out rather than estimate them; call us and we'll tell you what the drive is really like in the season you're coming.
House rules and policies
The Tahoe basin is under high fire risk year-round, which is why smoking is refused everywhere on our properties, outdoor areas included. Early check-in and late check-out depend on the cleaning schedule that day — ask us 48 hours ahead and we'll do what we can.
Getting to 90s Tahoe Time Capsule
Reno-Tahoe International is the closest commercial airport to every home we manage. Sacramento and the Bay Area are the common drives, all of them over a mountain pass.
Mount Rose Highway (NV-431) from Reno needs chains or snow tires through the winter and can close on short notice in a storm. Check conditions before you leave — Caltrans for California and nvroads.com for Nevada — and plan to arrive before dark on check-in day in ski season.
Booking direct with MG Vacation Rentals
Murat Gocmen and the MG Vacation Rentals team personally manage the homes on this site across Lake Tahoe and Truckee. Booking here means dealing with that local team directly rather than a platform queue — the same people who clean, maintain and inspect this home are the ones who answer the phone during your stay.
It also means no platform service fee on the guest side, which is typically 12–15% of the booking on the big sites. You pay the nightly rate, cleaning, occupancy tax, and card processing at cost.

Very Great Stay
Thank you for accommodating my crew. They loved the extras at the house. It was a great stay
Massive home in a beautiful area. So many living rooms! The 8 guest max seems a bit harsh, you could fit 20 people in this house… Everything was as described, loved the steam room and hot tub
This house was great for our family trip. We enjoyed our time there and look forward to coming back again!
The perfect oasis for our wellness retreat! The spa area accommodated all our guests together and the balcony was large enough for our yoga session. We never felt crowded with all the lounge area options. Beautiful quiet neighborhood close to the lake.
This "beautiful castle" is the ideal home for a quiet get-away from the hustle and bustle of a busy life. The house is huge and beautiful loaded with lots of amenities, even though we didn't use most of them. It's a convenient location whether from out of town or nearby for a quiet or active get-away. Everyone in our group was sold on the home as soon as they set foot on the second-floor view of Lake Tahoe. We plan on returning on an annual basis.
Great views, great house, great vibes highly recommend the 90s-time capsule
Absolutely phenomenal. The house was incredible, and Murat was super helpful from start to finish. Would absolutely book again!
Our stay here was great, we loved the house. The host was responsive and friendly. There is an atrium or light well that runs through each floor, which can be scary for climbing toddlers, but other than that, the house is pretty kid-friendly. The beds and comforters for the kids were great, and the amenities in the house are amazing. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again.
Great place! 90s theme was a awesome flashback and super fun!
