What's inside Enchanting Chamberlands Cabin
Shared with the rest of the complex, not the home's own: pool and tennis — so expect building hours and other residents.
Everything below is drawn from this home's own amenity record, not a generic template.
What makes Tahoma the right base for your trip?
Deep West Shore, thick pine forest, and very little traffic — the quietest area we manage, with Sugar Pine Point State Park next door.
- Sugar Pine Point State Park has lake access, trails, and the Ehrman Mansion.
- D. L. Bliss and Emerald Bay are a short drive south on CA-89.
- Expect a genuinely quiet, wooded setting rather than a walkable town.
This home files its occupancy tax in Placer County, California.
How far is Enchanting Chamberlands Cabin from the places you'll actually go?
Distances are straight-line from this home's own coordinates, so the road distance is longer — mountain roads wind. We've left drive times out rather than estimate them; call us and we'll tell you what the drive is really like in the season you're coming.
House rules and policies
The Tahoe basin is under high fire risk year-round, which is why smoking is refused everywhere on our properties, outdoor areas included. Early check-in and late check-out depend on the cleaning schedule that day — ask us 48 hours ahead and we'll do what we can.
Getting to Enchanting Chamberlands Cabin
Reno-Tahoe International is the closest commercial airport to every home we manage. Sacramento and the Bay Area are the common drives, all of them over a mountain pass.
CA-89 and CA-28 around the lake get chain controls in winter storms, and Donner Summit on I-80 closes on short notice. Check conditions before you leave — Caltrans for California and nvroads.com for Nevada — and plan to arrive before dark on check-in day in ski season.
Booking direct with MG Vacation Rentals
Murat Gocmen and the MG Vacation Rentals team personally manage the homes on this site across Lake Tahoe and Truckee. Booking here means dealing with that local team directly rather than a platform queue — the same people who clean, maintain and inspect this home are the ones who answer the phone during your stay.
It also means no platform service fee on the guest side, which is typically 12–15% of the booking on the big sites. You pay the nightly rate, cleaning, occupancy tax, and card processing at cost.

Two families with young children who got stuck in a thunderstorm while tent camping. The kids were all too scared to stay in the tent for the night, so we took a chance to find a last minute Airbnb. The manager was super quick to respond and even though they don’t usually accept last minute stays, thankfully they accommodated us due to our circumstances. When we arrived the house was spotless and warm. Instructions are very clear and they even provide YouTube videos to help you navigate how to unlock the house. Thank you for saving us from the rain and thunder!
Great location and walkable to the lake!
Great location with access to chamberlands beach and amenities. The home was spotless, with plenty of space for dining as a group inside and on the patio.
MG was a great host. The property was great and we would be back again when we are in the area!
It was amazing. Just memorable stay. Kids loved it. The house was cozy and comfortable.
We had a wonderful stay at this lovely cabin! Our group of 9 spent 3 nights here, and it was a great experience overall. The space was comfortable and perfect for a larger group, allowing us all to relax and enjoy our time together. We did experience a power outage on the first night, but thankfully we came prepared with flashlights and batteries, so it didn’t impact us too much. After that, everything went smoothly and we were able to fully enjoy the rest of our stay. One thing to keep in mind for larger groups is that the warm water can run out fairly quickly, so it’s best to space out showers. As long as you plan ahead, it’s totally manageable. Mg was a wonderful host—very responsive, helpful, and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. We really appreciated the hospitality and would definitely recommend this place to others!
Great place, highly recommend!
