House rules and policies
The Tahoe basin is under high fire risk year-round, which is why smoking is refused everywhere on our properties, outdoor areas included. Early check-in and late check-out depend on the cleaning schedule that day — ask us 48 hours ahead and we'll do what we can.
Getting to Livin' on the Edge
Reno-Tahoe International is the closest commercial airport to every home we manage. Sacramento and the Bay Area are the common drives, all of them over a mountain pass.
Mount Rose Highway (NV-431) from Reno needs chains or snow tires through the winter and can close on short notice in a storm. Check conditions before you leave — Caltrans for California and nvroads.com for Nevada — and plan to arrive before dark on check-in day in ski season.

Adorable cottage just off the lake with a great view. Nicely equipped for cooking and relaxing. Management couldn’t have been more helpful, easy in, easy out. Highly recommend this property!
The cabin was beautiful and had wonderful views! Amazing location as well with some of the most beautiful scenery areas and beaches nearby that Tahoe has to offer. Only reason I gave a 4 star instead of 5 is because the blinds over the big windows with the beautiful view were broken and a large section of the window was covered with blinds and we couldn’t move them up since the electronic switch wasn’t working. That was pretty disappointing because it took away from being able to fully see and enjoy the view. I messaged them about it but nothing was done. Everything else was good though and I’m sure they will fix the blinds soon! Because I’m sure I’m not the only one who got this place mainly for that view from those windows:/

Trotz der etwas in die Jahre gekommenen Möbel ist die Unterkunft absolut empfehlenswert. Die Lage und der Ausblick sind hervorragend und machen den Aufenthalt besonders. Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt und würden wiederkommen. Kommunikation mit der Vermietung ist sehr gut.
Perfect surprise trip to Tahoe for Mother's day weekend! Mg's place was exactly what we needed--great views overlooking the lake, quiet & peaceful surroundings, and short distances to all the amenities you'll need🙂 Highly recommend this place and will definitely return!
My wife and I loved our stay here!! The place was so clean and comfortable, and the view was amazing. Mg was very helpful and responsive, check in and check out were so easy (: Only things were that our car unfortunately could not go up the driveway cuz it’s very very steep and you need a 4 wheel drive. Luckily, they had another parking spot that we were able to use, and the pictures make the place look just a tad bit bigger than what it is but it was still roomy and spacious😊 Would definitely recommend this stay to anyone that’s considering it, don’t miss out!!
We had a great time visiting Lake Tahoe from Houston, Tx. This home was amazing. We loved the view from the Patio of the water, sunrise / sunset, and watching the Osprey. Great location! We would book this place again in a heartbeat.
Es mi primera vez en lake Tahoe y creo que este alojamiento hizo que creara una perspectiva del lugar aún más cálida e interesante. El lugar era mejor de lo que esperábamos limpio , stocked ,seguro, instrucciones precisas y los anfitriones súper amables y responden rápido a tus dudas. Ellos no te molestan para nada, simplemente te sientes en tu casa . Mi lugar favorito fue la sala de abajo con una vista impresionante . Me encantó que hay miles de toallas para el jacuzzi para el Baño , para limpiar la cocina , para después de bañarte , y todo súper impecable incluyendo las sábanas de las camas. Yo llevé todo lo necesario pero prácticamente no necesitas nada , hay muchas cobijas para el frío , y en la cocina hay de todo . No cargues con tus utensilios de cocina ellos tienen hasta para hornear pasteles 😍simplemente regresaría
The outside doesn’t match the inside! It was a great surprise on how big this house feels. In every room I walked thru , the views and rooms felt amazing. The view to the lake was amazing from the deck. I found myself stargazing most the nights. I would stay here again.
