What makes Incline Village the right base for your trip?
A quiet residential community on the Nevada side of the North Shore, well away from the congestion of South Lake Tahoe. No state income tax on the Nevada side, and Diamond Peak is the local hill.
- Diamond Peak Ski Resort is the in-town mountain, with lake views from most runs.
- Lakeshore Boulevard is the flattest, most scenic walking and cycling route in the area.
- Burnt Cedar and Incline Beach are IVGID resident-access beaches — rental guests generally cannot use them, so plan on Sand Harbor or Hidden Beach.
- Mount Rose Highway (NV-431) is the direct route to Reno and needs chains or snow tires in winter.
This home files its occupancy tax in Washoe County, Nevada.
How far is Lunar Lakeview Haven from the places you'll actually go?
Distances are straight-line from this home's own coordinates, so the road distance is longer — mountain roads wind. We've left drive times out rather than estimate them; call us and we'll tell you what the drive is really like in the season you're coming.
House rules and policies
The Tahoe basin is under high fire risk year-round, which is why smoking is refused everywhere on our properties, outdoor areas included. Early check-in and late check-out depend on the cleaning schedule that day — ask us 48 hours ahead and we'll do what we can.
Getting to Lunar Lakeview Haven
Reno-Tahoe International is the closest commercial airport to every home we manage. Sacramento and the Bay Area are the common drives, all of them over a mountain pass.
Mount Rose Highway (NV-431) from Reno needs chains or snow tires through the winter and can close on short notice in a storm. Check conditions before you leave — Caltrans for California and nvroads.com for Nevada — and plan to arrive before dark on check-in day in ski season.
Booking direct with MG Vacation Rentals
Murat Gocmen and the MG Vacation Rentals team personally manage the homes on this site across Lake Tahoe and Truckee. Booking here means dealing with that local team directly rather than a platform queue — the same people who clean, maintain and inspect this home are the ones who answer the phone during your stay.
It also means no platform service fee on the guest side, which is typically 12–15% of the booking on the big sites. You pay the nightly rate, cleaning, occupancy tax, and card processing at cost.

Great stay! The house was spotless and very comfortable. Everything felt well kept and cozy, making for a relaxing visit. We appreciated the attention to detail and would happily stay again. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable home away from home.
We thoroughly enjoyed our extended weekend. We didn’t sleep the best as the master suite bed was too firm and the pillows go flat as soon as you lay in them, so we struggled with that. Would recommend tissue boxes in various rooms. Also simple things like plastic wrap and foil would be a nice courtesy. I would stress the stairs and that all bedrooms are on the bottom level for those with mobility issues. Love the area of Incline and this was our 2nd ABNB rental within the month. Thank you for your hospitality and welcoming our stay, as well as for your quick responses and communication. All our best!
Had a wonderful time staying here with a group of friends. We were all comfortable and enjoyed the amenities. Beautiful quiet surroundings close to the lake and Diamond Peak for skiing. Definitely recommend. Host and contracted management company were both very communicative when a small electrical issue arose around 9 pm and helped us solve the problem quickly.
Had an amazing stay here. Murat was an excellent host, super responsive, clear communication, and flexible with check-in, which made arrival easy and stress-free. And Check out was stress free. The space itself was spotless, very well maintained, cozy and of course Cabin chic. It genuinely had everything our group needed: a fully stocked kitchen for cooking at home, plenty of space for hanging out and game nights, and the hot tub and sauna were absolute highlights after a long day out. It felt comfortable, thoughtful, and clearly set up for an intimate group (or family). The location was also perfect, close to ski resorts (mt Rose or Diamond Peak), some dining and easy to get around, while still feeling private and relaxing. Our whole crew just had a great time, and we would absolutely stay here again, we can’t wait. Highly recommend - 10/10
Great quiet location. Clean and plenty of amenities. Our family had a great stay!
Really relaxing location and layout, we had a blast and really spread out as a family of five. Murat was super responsive and accommodating the whole time, including an early check-in. The hot tub and the old school hockey game were a big hit, as were the heated bathroom floors! Overall the house is nicely updated, thoughtfully finished, and cozy. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to feel right at home for family meals. We drove 15 minutes up the mountain to Mount Rose Summit for sledding and winter hikes. Also stayed up late and were lucky to catch a meteor shower in the clear night sky.
We stayed for two nights during Thanksgiving and enjoyed a wonderful time with friends and families. The house is beautifully decorated with great amenities with hot tub, sauna, and game room, kept kids busy all the time. It is also super close to the Mt rose ski resort, only about 10 min away. The host was also super responsive even on the Thanksgiving Day. We will definitely come back if we are in the area.
We enjoyed the Hot Tub, Sauna and the home. Great time place to unwind, enjoy the fire place and play cards. Winfd down at the end of the day in the hot tube, followed by cold tube and sauna in the lower level.
Stayed here during my wedding weekend. Host was very understanding about our need to get ready the morning-of and having a hair/makeup team plus all the bridesmaids over. Having the garage to park in as to not worry about bears breaking in and destroying all the decor I worked so hard on was a big plus too.
Lovely setting, beautiful home. Close to hiking trails, beach, good restaurants. Amenities were all used by our family and enjoyed. Would definitely stay here again.
