The Tahoe basin is under high fire risk year-round, which is why smoking is refused everywhere on our properties, outdoor areas included. Early check-in and late check-out depend on the cleaning schedule that day — ask us 48 hours ahead and we'll do what we can.

Reno-Tahoe International is the closest commercial airport to every home we manage. Sacramento and the Bay Area are the common drives, all of them over a mountain pass.
I-80 over Donner Summit is the main route in and gets chain controls in every significant storm. Check conditions before you leave — Caltrans for California and nvroads.com for Nevada — and plan to arrive before dark on check-in day in ski season.

We had a wonderful stay! The home was the perfect blend of rustic charm with a few modern updates. It was clean, comfortable, and had a great layout that made it easy to relax. We especially enjoyed spending time on the beautiful deck, and the location was excellent—convenient while still feeling peaceful. We’d definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy getaway in Northstar.
The place is incredible. The tree growing through the deck is unreal. Very cool A-frame design with clean bedrooms bathrooms and kitchen. About 15 minutes drive away from Lake Tahoe.
Great house for a visit to Tahoe! Has everything you need and matches the pics/description well. My only ask would be for better lighting in the living room but I know it's hard with those tall ceilings.
We had a wonderful Mother's day weekend at Mg's place. The neighborhood is incredibly peaceful! Drinking coffee on the balcony first thing in the morning was just top tier in my opinion. I can't recommend this place enough if you're looking for a peaceful re-set from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Thank you for having us 🙏
My family and I enjoyed the charming Tahoe cabin, peaceful neighborhood and close proximity to the Village (Northstar). The house had all we needed and Mg was an exceptional communicator. We'd be happy to stay again!
Great cabin to stay near North Lake Tahoe. Cabin is spacious.
Unfortunately there was a setback with the house we initially rented, but the host was super attentive, considerate, and accommodating. Without hesitation, he provided an alternative.
Very fast internet, close to northstar resort.
We really enjoyed our time at the cabin. Nice clean and peaceful. The host was also very responsive when we would message him. Definitely would recommend this place to others.
